INDIAN WEDDING IN MOROCCO
Once upon a time in New York, a beautiful young lady dined at a Moroccan restaurant called Souk, where she met a tall, charming gentleman. Was it love at first sight? Perhaps. What we know is that their secret romance began right there, where Jay found his spice, and Mahek found her sunshine.
Their wedding was as grand as their love, with six unique events reflecting the bride’s style. It began with an unforgettable blue Sangeet, her husband’s favorite color filled with music by the Ragar Boys, an Ambani wedding DJ, and a tear-jerking solo by her little brother.
The next day brought a lively Carnival-themed pool party, ending with the couple, and even the bride’s father, diving into the fun. That evening, a Souk-inspired dinner paid tribute to their love story, complete with spices, poetry, and a mesmerizing fire-eater.
The wedding ceremony itself was pure magic, a floral dream by Anand Karan and a deeply emotional moment for all. Later, the couple shared an intimate ring exchange surrounded by a thousand glowing candles, like stars fallen to earth.
The reception that followed was spectacular: a mirrored dance floor over the canal, a surprise performance by Manj, and the estate’s first-ever fireworks show to celebrate their love.
We still adore them to this day.
